I love how this part of Apple for Evan (by Arrah and the Ferns) is sung.
builtonbones asked: How did you enjoy college? What was it like? And also, what do you do when you feel like everything you draw just seems to turn out terrible?
I have never studied illustration or went to art school (and I miss having this experience A LOT). So college was just a place I to classes, do tests and etc. It was a little bit like school really.
Thinking about it my college experience felt a lot like Community (the tv show): crazy and pointless, but I met a lot of my closest friends there.
And about your other question: YES! I feel like that ALL THE TIME. Right now I’m going through this fase that I hate my drawing style a lot, but I know this will pass, I just have to keep going. so don’t stress a lot about it :)
today at work i tried to explain to my coworkers (all guys) that to identify a female character in female character on a video game you don’t need to draw her all in pink
and it was surprisingly hard to make them understand my point
oh well
one battle at the time
whenever a very silly drawing receives a bunch of notes

happytrooper said: I love this show too! I like how Zoe is from NY and is suddenly living a simple country life. I’m studying to be a doctor too so shows like these resonate to me. I liked Emily Owens MD, too bad they cancelled that though. Lovely work! :)
I would pay good money to live in Bluebell, hahaha! All the town events seems to be so much fun! I ENVY YOU PEOPLE FROM BLUEBELL (and I know it’s a fictional place, guys).
I don’t know where you live, but here in Brazil a lot of young doctors go to small country towns after graduating before applying for the internships, so a guess the show is kind off realistic? In a crazy and entertaining way?
I never watched Emily Owens, but I only hear good things about this show, maybe I’ll watch it during summer season :)
And thank you so much!
Couldn’t help myself and end up drawing the older version of Sophie Hatter.
moclachanbhernard said that I should try to draw someone from Howl’s Moving Castle (the book). And this is actually one of my favorites books EVER!
So here is my take on Sophie Hatter.
I think she would wear her hair on those milk braids, because it’s very practical hairstyle and sort of plain but also very pretty.
